Travel: Polignano a Mare & Martina franca, Italy

When I first saw a photo of Polignano a Mare, I knew I had to go there. It is a lovely coastal town in Puglia. We only travelled to this place as a day trip, but I would love to stay longer. Breath taking is the word to describe the spectacular view of white houses resting on top of a high cliff of limestone. It’s amazing how mother nature has carved out such magnificent coastline. We enjoyed watching the Italians jumping off the cliffs into the crystal clear turquoise sea. I wish I had the guts to do that too!

We did not have any maps. We just follow the lanes and explore this authentic Italian village. We spoiled ourselves with gelato whenever the heat was killing us. In the historic centre, street art were everywhere. We had a quiet stroll around this lovely town, shooting and getting lost in the narrow alleys of whitewashed houses and churches.

Where to eat: Grotta Palazzes, Puro, Gusto caruso (gelato!!)

We then took the train to Martina Franca, another charming town in Puglia with a mixture of medieval and Baroque architecture. We did not have much time there, so only a few photos to show!

Enjoy the photos everyone! :)
Puglia has so much to explore, I wish I could spend more time here!
